Vinita Nair
She started at the station on July 4, 2004 and was a reporter on many subjects, such as the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation as well as the school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair was employed to ABC News in December 2007 as a correspondent/anchor for ABC News Now. The anchor was responsible for anchoring the live news broadcast, in addition to briefings about ABC's network's digital platforms. Nair also served as a co-anchor of World News Now, America This Morning, and ABC's digital network from September 17th, 2008 through February 18th the 18th of February. In both of the shows the show, she first worked by Jeremy Hubbard then later Rob Nelson. Nair made it clear on Thursday 17th February, 2011, her last night the show's broadcast at World News Now would be the 18th of February, Friday. She would also have her final day working for ABC News. Peggy Bunker, a former anchor on KDVR Denver, was her directly succeeding her. The issue of February 18 on World News Now paid tribute to Nair during each of its three segments. It also featured appearances by former and current colleagues including Jeremy Hubbard. Her last morning, Nair treated her crew to a delicious breakfast.
