Lars joined the military following his school days. He did nine months of basic military service with the Kongelige Livgarde, an infantry regiment of the Danish army. Lars didn't think the military was right for him, so he decided to look for something else and eventually decided to go into biology. In the midst of this already a half year, Anette came home from an juggler's class and showed him how skilled she was at play juggling in just three days. Lars was thrilled and was keen to give it a go. So he dropped out of college and enrolled to the juggler's college as well. He was trained in fire breathing and juggling at this school. After that, he traveled with two friends as traveling artists across Europe performing in the streets of cities such as Paris, Munich, Moscow and Warsaw. He met a children's circus two years later, and he learned both children's and street theatre as and pantomime.
